Mamus Okah is my personal role model for what it means to be a HERO
At 28 years old, she gained permission from the government of her country, Nigeria, to go into a war zone and pull out children. In Nigeria, 50% of ALL CHILDREN do NOT make it past the age of 5.
Mamus Okah, on her own income as an accountant, cares for 36 children. The youngest 18 months. The oldest 18 years.
In all honesty, I don't know how she has accomplished that. I am in awe of her.
The Under His Wings DaughterSon Orphanage is not yet registered. Registering an orphanage costs money and all of Mamus' money goes to these children. Because of this, they are not eligible for government or other aid and most people are afraid to help them out because of all the scams coming from Nigeria.
Mamus Okah, in her generous and heroic gestures of LITERALLY giving ALL that she has, is a prime example of what it means to walk through the fear of poverty consciousness.
Andy Andrews, author of the book The Traveler's Gift: Seven Decisions That Determine Personal Success, once said that if you're not dead yet; it is because you are not finished yet. That God has a plan for you and you have not fulfilled your life's Divine Purpose yet.
Having been deeply touched by this non-registered orphanage, I am not surprised these children did not perish, in a country where the death rate of children is so atrocious.
I am honored to know Mamus Okah and these children. I am even more honored to be in service to them with Reconnective Healing™.
I look forward to seeing the amazing things these beautiful children will do one day. Just imagine if all of them grew up and flourished and were able to give their gifts away.
